I have a vCenter 5.1 and two hosts with local storage which have ESXi 4.1 (Host1) and ESXi 5.1 (Host2) installed. They are working fine.
I migrated a CentOS virtual machine from host1 to the host2. The state of the virtual machine was "powered off", and the migration was successful. After migration, I powered on the CentOS but the network interface "eth0" has been changed to "eth1". It seems that vCenter removed "eth0" and added "eth1"!
The vmware tools is not installed in the CentOS and the version of the CentOS is 5.8
Why this is happen? It's look like the issue of cloning a linux virtual machine
