Migrating vCenter 6.5 to appliance 6.7 with vcloud availability considerations

Hello,

I want to migrate a vCenter 6.5 (Windows) to vCenter 6.7 appliance but I have some questions. In vCenter 6.5 I have the vCloud Availabilty to backup some VM's and I would like to maintain all configurations after this upgrade. What cconsideration we need to pay attention to don't lose confs and replications?

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Upgrading vCenter does not affect other solutions registered to it. We need to ensure that these solutions are compatible with vCenter 6.7 and post upgrade re-register the solutions to vCenter.

I hope that helps.

As Ash said, you should be able to upgrade/migrate without impacting other solutions if the versions are compatible.

To check that, please check VMware Product Interoperability Matrices . Also if you  are using a third party solution, check if the version you have running is compatible with 6.7 in this case, or your specific target version.
