Migrating the Virtual Center Databases

I am going to be moving over my Virtual Center DB, VM update manager DB, VM composer DB and VM licensing DB to a new SQL 2005 server. Is it okay just to stop the services on the Virtual Center and SQL DB server and then migrate the DBs over to the new server? And then afterwards recreate the ODBC connections?
