Migrating VCenter 6.0 with dvSwitches to VCSA v6.5 with no downtime ?

People

I need to perform the online migration (with no downtime) for the existing VMware VCenter running on Physical box to the latest VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.5.0.14000

Here's my current physical VCenter server specs:

vCenter Server 6.0 Update 1b [build 3339083]

SQL Server 2008 Enterprise SP3 running in the same hardware.

My concern is that there are multiple existing distributed vSwitches that is currently used by all of the production VMs, so how can I migrate it safely with no downtime to the new VCSA with embedded PSC ?

Name         NumPorts Mtu  Version Vendor

----         -------- ---  ------- ------

DMZ          168      1500 5.5.0   VMware

dvSwitch     656      1500 5.5.0   VMware

testing      264      1500 5.5.0   VMware

VoIP-VLANS   56       9000 6.0.0   VMware, Inc.

Phone        84       1500 5.5.0   VMware, Inc.

CALL-RECORD  12       1500 6.0.0   VMware, Inc.

I have deployed the VCSA v6.5 and I can access it using the Putty, what are my next steps to do ?

Thanks in advance,

No need to install VCA. To migrate, use VMware Migration Assertant - it deploys the VCA itself.

Good manual:

Step-by-step: Migrate Windows vCenter server to vCSA 6.5u1 -

In addition, Distributed vSwitches does not affect the operation of the network and the VM in any way.

Ok, so what about the Distributed vSwitch migration steps ?

In this context, Distributed vSwitch is the same technology as for example, HA, DRS. This is part of the vCenter. And vCenter migrates with all its technologies, you do not have to transfer them separately.
