We had a network related issue over the weekend, and because of that we had to moved our vCenter to a separate cluster with a standard switch. All of our VMs have Nexus 1000v vDS switch profiles. How can I move vCenter from Standard Switch to vDS w/o interruption to vCenter?
vCenter is running on a separate cluster with a host standard switch, and since our Production cluster has EVC enabled, then I am getting errors with mismatch CPU masking as well during vMotion to existing cluster with vDS configuration, due to the fact it wont let me configure the same EVC mode since it has running VMs(vCenter Application and Database server).
I dont want to shut down vCenter in order to move to vDS if there is anyway to do it.. Any thoughts/suggestions?
