Managing a VMware Server through vCenter 4

I am trying to add a standalone VMware server (2.0.1) to a vCenter 4.0 server that manages a bunch of ESX/ESXi 4.0 hosts.

After having added the license server for VI3, I finally get to the point where I can "Add Host..." and point it to the VMware server.

After asking about resource pools and presenting a summary, it ends with "vCenter does not support hosts of this type (VMware server 2.0.1)".

But from descriptions it sounded like it would support it? Am I missing something?

Thanks

Klaus

Thanks for pointing me to the right thread - looks indeed like it will not be possible.
