Manage VMware Server 1.x

I'm evaluating VMware Virtual Center 2.5 and it works fine with two ESXi 3.5 Update 2 Server. Now I want to connect several VMWare Server 1.x to VC, but none works.

I get the following error: a general system failure occured: internal error

Are there known issues with VMWare Server? I read it should work for everything newer than GSX...

What can I do?

To manage a VMware Server 1.x server from within VC you need the Virtual Center agent, which you need to purchase seperately
