Making Updated ISO from Dell OEM ISO

Hi

I'm trying to update the latest Dell ESXi 6.7 ISO (build 15160138) to include the updates and patches included in the latest ESXi 6.7 release build 202004002.

I've downloaded the offline bundles for both builds in zip format and tried using Auto Deploy in VCSA but keep getting the error:

Invalid Fault

ThrowableProxy.cause

'name'

I'm using VCSA 7.0, don'y know if that's got anything to do with it?

Hi there, I've never tried this with a vendor iso (like dell's) so maybe that could be the issue

I haven't updated my lab to 7 yet, but you can try doing the same process with the VMware iso and see if you get the same error (just to discard a vendor iso issue and is a fast test to do)

I think the problem is with VCSA 7, I tried it with VCSA 6.7 and it worked fine.

Yeah you're right, I reinstalled VCSA 7 and everything is working fine.
