I'm looking to manage a bunch of clients that are now purchasing the ESXi essentials / essentials plus bundles. I would idealy like to manage them from the office. Since the essentials bundles come with vcenter license, what are my options as far as a centrally located management console?
Do I just need vCenter Std for the office and then input their licensing? I'm looking to use dell open manage to monitor hardware failure and then the vcenter console for the VM's luns etc.
I'm just a bit confused on the licensing and what is actually needed to centrally manage all this with use of the essentials licensing scheme!
