Lower version Vcentre manage higher version of ESX

Hi i'm just wondering if vcentre 4.1 u1 can manage ESX 4.1 u2 hosts

It will support as long they are of same version(4.x) leaving out all the update levels.

you may be aware that it is always possible to have downward compatibility.

so, 4.x vcenter can support till ESX 3/3.5 host but not ESX 5.0 hosts.
