I am redoing our current backup strategy. As a part of this i am looking for a way to automate the backup of the vCenter server configuration and possibly the database.
As a short term measure, I have VDP backing up the vCenter Appliance but figure that probably isnt the best way to do it.
I have a NFS share as well as a SFTP server that I can send the backups to.
i have been looking for a way to automate the backup process and havent been able to find anything.
Everything I see so far is a manual process.
Suggestions ?
