When i am trying to migrate the windows vm from one host to another. it is failing wile valedating the destenation host by giving the fallowing error!error-migrate.JPG!
Have you checked if the CPUs are from same vendor & using similar chipsets?

Both the server are from same vender SunFire V20z with AMD processors.
Check HCL at http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_systems_guide.pdf
I dont see your server model in the HCL. Also check vmotion compatibility list. It has list of supported AMD processors.

But, it is giving error on only in cpuid not in any other aspects.
Isn't there a way to tell the CPU not to show its CPU ID? If so, that might me the problem. To check in the bios.
