License/Software download question

After I installed the ESX’s, the license information showed that they were licensed as “vsphere 4 Enterprise” under Summary/License.

So for the vcenter server (4.0), I downloaded the enterprise software. But I noticed under Vcenter/Home/Licensing, that the vcenter Server 4 Standard appears even though I downloaded the Enterprise zip file. Is this going to be a potential problem? Very strange. Thanks for the help!

Standard is as high as you can go for vCenter licensing. You are good.

There are two levels of vCenter and a couple of different levels of ESX. vCenter standard is the top level of vCenter so you should be good to go on that.
