Hi there,
we are running vCenter 4 on a Windows 2008 Server. All setup in English version's. When we send a e-mail notification as action of a triggered alarm the e-mail message is send in german. Well - I figure this happens because we are using Swiss-German Keyboard and Regional Settings.
But we want to get the messages in english. Does anyone know to change this behavior?

Here is the solution :
1) Please create a backup of the ..\Vmware\Infrastructure\Vmware Virtual Center\Locale\DE folder or rename to DE_old
2) Do a copy of the "en" folder in same directory and rename it to "de"
3) Restart the virtual center server
Thx to vmware support

Hi Mauro,

But I've still no idea how to change this.
Any further tips?

We are facing the same problems. You can change the default language of the user who is beeing used to connect to VCDB Database under logins on SQL-Server.
Our user was set to english but the problem still persist.
