What is the recommended way to join a host to vcenter? I know it can be done multiple different ways, but should be just using the name, ip address, or fqdn?
FQDN... Also, besides that make sure you have DNS entries for all your ESX(i) Hosts as welll as vCenter. HA is very dependant on proper name resoultion.
