I don't have any questions, I just wanted to share with you:
I've been trying to add our VCSA 7.0 u2 to domain but it kept failing.
- When I tired from the GUI it failed with a java error.
- When I tried with the /opt/bin/likewise/domainjoin-cli it failed with error ERROR_GEN_FAILURE [code 0x0000001f]
We checked firewall ports, ntp, dns, we even changed the NTLM settings of our domain.
The issue was the permissions of the account we were using for joining the VCSA to the domain.
Also, even though the vCenter is currently joined to the domain the Active Directory Domain doesn't show it... I suspect it is a bug or something.
