Is there any way to add ESXi 4.1 host to vCenter 4.0

Hi

When I am trying to add ESXi 4.1 hot to vCenter 4.0, after few seconds esxi 4.1 is getting disconnecting form vCenter 4.0.

I have two blade servers, one blade server has ESXi 4.0 and another one has ESXi 4.1. Can I manage both hosts on vCenter 4.0.

Note: I cannot upgrade my ESXi 4.0 to 4.1, I have to test my product on both the versions.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

Deva

You need to have a vCenter license registered on your account to be able to download it.

vcenter is not able to manage a newer ESX/ESXi host. To manage both hosts, you will need vcenter 4.1 as it can manage older version too
