Is there a way to add mutltiple vCenter server in a single Web Client installation - Version 5.5?

Hi,

Is there a way to add or register a vCenter server to a single Web Client under the version 5.5? All the administration tool like admin-app has been removed on version 5.5.

Any help will be appreciated!

One way is to register both the vcenter's to single centralized sso. That way both vcenter's will show up on the web client.

Sounds good, but could you tell me how I can do that with vSphere 5.5? Documentation or the exact command line?

Have you already installed two vCenters and now you are looking at this or you are going to do it? Why i ask this question is, While installation of vcenter(the second one) you can point it to the first SSO. if you already have two vcenters installed then you will have to re-register the vCenters.

Hi,

Both VCenter are already installed. It's exactly what I want to do, re-register a vCenter to another SSO. However, with 5.1 it was pretty simple with the admin-app tools but under 5.5 I didn't find the equivalent.

This KB's should help you.

Take snapshots of the machines before you do anything.
