Installing VMware Converter Enterpirse 4.0.2 Plugins for Virtual Center into Windows server 2000

We have Virtual Center 2.5.0 installed on Windows server

2000(SP4). I wanted to install VMware Converter Enterprise 4.0.2 Plugins into

Vitual Center but not sure would it work or not and Do I need to take any extra

caution for example shut down all VMs?

You do not need to shutdown your VM since installing the plugin is very easy. Download your VC 2.5 U4 component and launch the execution and check only VMware Enterprise Converter plugin option ONLY and it will go through the installation very quickly and simple. Once done, open your VI client connect to virtual center and click on Plugins menu and choose "Manage Plugins" and then you will see if its enabled already. Right click on your ESX hosts and you will see "Import Virtual Machines" option that means its working correctly and start P2V your physical servers.
