Do you guys have latest Microsoft Windows Server Patches installed?

Is Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed?

What credentials are logging in with?

Can you try installing with local administrator account not the Domain account?

Is the DB SQL Express or remote SQL Server?

Thanks Bigi for the reply. See answer below. Will get back to you when I try the local admin account.

Do you guys have latest Microsoft Windows Server Patches installed? Yes, it up to date.

Is Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed? Yes. The framework is installed. I check the program features.

What credentials are logging in with? I am using a domain account.

Can you try installing with local administrator account not the Domain account? I will try this in the morning.

Is the DB SQL Express or remote SQL Server? Using remote MS SQL

Hi all,

After reinstalling OS, installation process completed without any errors. But I don't no why the installation process has finished. I've nothing done other than previously.

Config:

Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 EN x64 (Virtual) with latest Patches

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

Domain User Account for SSO, Inventory Service and vCenter Server.

Remote MSSQL Server 2008 DB

Andi,

Thanks for getting back to me! I am doing an upgrade from VCENTER 4.1 so an OS reinstall is not something I am looking forward to. I have oppened a ticket with VMWARE to troubleshoot. I will post back if I find a solution.
