How to move / copy some VMDKs?

I have a VM with 2 VMDKs on the new SAN and 2 virtual RDM disks referring to data on the old SAN.

I want to have all data in VMDKs on the new SAN.

One way to do it is to do a Datastore migration to a (new) datastore on teh new SAN. That will pull in all the data from the virtual RDM disks into a new VMDK on the new SAN.

But, that wil also copy / move the data from the 2 VMDKs that are allready on the new SAN.

Is there a simple option to just simply pull in the 2 RDM disks to the directory on the new SAN where the other data is now?

My environment is a vCenter 5.5 with ESXi 5.5 hosts

Datastores are VMFS5

You can migrate the VM including the RDM disks (cold migration and/or Storage vMotion), and convert them into virtual disk this way. Another option is to use vmkfstools from the command line to clone the virtual disks, i.e. create regular virtual disks from the RDMs.

You can select the "Advanced" option in migration wizard and specify to migrate only the RDM disks... this way the .vmdk already on new SAN will not be migrated again.
