How to move a virtual center to another machine

I have the necessity to move a virtual center from a server to a new one.. How can I do it?

You can simply Perform a P2V or V2V as per your current vCenter standard and reconfig the new VM to work same like the old vCenter server.There will be a very small downtime while doing the reconfig of the VM.It was so smooth in my case.

Please be careful while dealing with reconfig (Source physical/VM must be shut down or out of network)

I would only copy the VC DB to the new machine and do a fresh install of VC pointing the DB.

Assuming you are using the same IP.

If you are planning to change the IP you may need to re-add all the hosts or edit the vpxa.cfg file.
