How to create schedule tasks for shutdown many VM in one job?

Hi all,

I using vSphere 4.1, 10 Hosts and running 150 VM.

I want to know how to create schedule to shutdown many VM in one job or if you have a better way please advise me.

Hi Preeda,

I have a script for this:

All that you will need to do is run the script as a scheduled task.

One day I will virtualise myself . . .

That is a good script it is very helpful.

However I have additional question.

Can I specific some VMs or set ordering because I need to shutdown vCenter server and DC last.
