How to change the IP address of the Virtual Centre including License server

Hello,

I need to change the IP address of our Virtual Centre, which includes our license server, from 192.168.4.x to 172.30.1.x - what should I look for and change to ensure that all the hosts can still see it and get their licenses?

Thanks,

Paul

Hey,

The License server is actually the easiest one to change.

So long as the ESX hosts can reach the license server on ports 27000 and I think 27010 then you can dynamically change the licensing settings.

Its the VC, you need to be worried about.
