How to change host name in vCenter

I made a mistake when I setup vCenter. Instead of using the host name, I put in the IP address. I don't see any option in vCenter to rename the host. If I try to remove the host it says it will delete all the VM's. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

yeah, just right cick on the HOST, choose disconnect, then remove. The VM's will remain running. The "add host" back in with FQDN

You can disconnect and reconnect your host using host name. I don't know if this host are a member of HA or DRS cluster.

In this case keep attention.

Sorry, i'm lost ... disconnect and then remove your host. Finally reconnect via host name.
