How to I add a VM back to the VC Inventory list

Hi,

If I remove a VM from the VC's list of VMs byt choosing "remove fron inventory", how do I add it back?? Which file should I aim at?? I know that for templates is by righ clicking the vmtx file and choose "add to inventory". But I am not sure what should I do for a VM.

Thanks

Same method. But the .vmx file instead.

Or from Service Console:

vmware-cmd -s register /vmfs/volumes/your_datastore/your_vm/your_vm.vmx

on one of your esx hosts, browse the datastore that the VM is located on. open up the folder of the VM and right click the .vmx file and "add to inventory"
