How do i connect to a fibre channel?

Afternoon all,

Im having problems connecting to a SAN that is conencted via fibre.

We have a couple of HP DL360 G6's.   The hosts are connected directly to the HP MSA2312 SAN.

When i go to the storage adapter config all i see is:

iSCSI Software Adapter

ICH10 4 port SATA IDE Controller

Broadcom iSCSI Adapter

LSI1068E

Smart Array P410i

I suspect it is the LSI1068E that needs connfiguring but when i click on it there is no properties link.

Can anyone stear me in the right direction please?

If your Storage works with fiber channel, you need have HBA (Host bus Adapter) to works with your Storage SAN.

You need configure into Storage access of Lun, and in vSphere you only need Rescan hba.

Now you need know if your storage works with ISCSI or FC.

Regards!
