How do I change the VC license source

Hi there,

I have moved my license server on to the same box as the VC. Does anyone know how I re-direct the VirtualCentre License Source to point to the new location?

Thanks

In Virtual Center select "Administration" from the top menu bar (Not the icon)

Select "VirtualCenter Management Server Configuration" From the drop down

Click the radial "Use license services on this VirtualCenter Server"

Click "OK"

Go to the configuration tab of each ESX server. Either by logging in to it directly from the VI client or by selecting it in Virtual Center.

Click on "Licensed Features"

Click on "Edit" next to "License Source"

Select "Use License Server"

Enter the FQDN of the new license server

Click "OK"
