I am running vSphere 5.1.0a with ESXi 5.1, and I'm running into an odd issue when I try to apply a host profile to some of my existing hosts. In particular, part of what I'm doing is changing the Management Network IP, subnet mask, and gateway, and when I apply the host profile, it tries to reapply the host's old IP address. This issue occurs even after the host address has been changed in DNS and even when I change the host profile to always prompt for the new management IP address information, indicating that the host profile setting is actually being ignored.
Has anyone else seen this issue, and do you have a solution?
