Host and VM issue with update to vCenter server

I am trying to figure out how to use this forum. I am not replying to my topic.

Can I update or patch a vCenter server (running ver 7.0) without shutting down hosts and or virtual machines on hosts managed by the vCenter server.

Can I update from the management interface GUI on port 5480, or download the appropriate ISO?

vCenter server appliance upgrade will not impact hosts and virtual machines.

Management interface GUI on port 5480 can be used for vCenter server appliance patch upgrade.
