Using ESX4.1 u1.
4 hosts all using the same host profile, says they are compliant.
vSwitch0:
Service Console - vswif0 - vlan70
vMotion - vmk1 - vlan71
FT - vmk0 - vlan72
When adding the 5th host, and applying the Host Profile it's used:
vSwitch0:
Service Console - vswif0 - vlan70
FT - vmk1 - vlan72
vMotion - vmk0 - vlan71
It's just swapped around vmk0 & vmk1.
1) I thought using host profiles, it would make them same.
2) are there any issues to watch out for by having vmk's swapped around?
Another issue with Host Profiles (may not be a HostProfile thing), is that after adding a host, and presenting storage, all the LUN's are using MRU, instead of RoundRobin. I had to go to each LUN and manually change it. Is there a way to set RR as the default for any LUN's presented?
