HBA and iSCSI paths show as active or inactive

On each of our iSCSI hosts we have dual fiber connections to the SAN and dual iSCSI connections to that storage. There are way more paths listed on each host than I would expect to see but more baffling is that some of them show as active and others as inactive. Is there an easy explanation?

This mostly depends on the path selection plugin and your zoning.  This can also happen if you are zoning to inactive controlllers.

Can you post a screenshot for us?

Can you also give some info on your type of storage and if you are using software or iSCSI initiators?
