HA disabled on host vm5 in cluster DC

I have a 4 host cluster all running 3.5 update2 110181 and VC 2.5 build 104215

HA and DRS was working fine before the upgrade to update 2 and vc2.5

3 of the 4 are running HA fine but the 4th tries to start the agent and then after 30 sec it says HA agent disabled.

I have checked the aam log vmware_vm5.log it shows no errors but can see the heartbeat from all the other hosts.

I can ping each host with ip and fqdn.

I have removed the host from the cluster and put it back , rebooted the host and recreated the entire cluster, to no avail.

I ran the upgrade to build 110268 ( the version that does not expire on Aug 12), no change.

I can not find any log that gives me any clue to why it is being disabled.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there is an issue with case sensitivity with Update 2. Make sure that hostname, fqdn etc is all in the same case in the host file of each ESX server.

I performed an update this past weekend and ran into the same problem on one of my host, though I had an incompatible network error showing up under the task/events on that particular host. I ended up using the das.allownetwork advanced option to work out my issues.
