HA Question - Why there is a limitation of 4 Host failure

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell, why there is a limitation of maximum of 4 HA host failure though we configure a max of 32 ESX server as a part of cluster?

I don't understand ,the concept behind this.It was same with Vi3 & Vi4...Any ideas?

Cheers

In a VMware HA cluster there are primary and secondary nodes. A maximum of five primary nodes in one cluster is supported by VMware. If you lose five cluster nodes or more, there is the possibility that you lose all your primary nodes. That is why there is a limitation of a maximum of four HA host failures in one cluster.
