Hey folks,
i have to build a HA Cluster over a MPLS WAN and darkfiber link.
SRM is not a option. You guys have any experience?
Thanks for your help!
I do not think it would work with a simple VMware HA
at least consider replication on the storage level
Yeap, sure there will be a SAN-Replication.
So both active at the same time? Or synchronous replication and one copy is "read" while the other is read/write? In this case you would need to keep in mind that you will access a LUN via the FC link between the sites in worst case. This will mean a lot of data traffic. Is your environment set up for this?

Hey Duncan,
first thanks for your reply. Both sites should be active.
There will be a dark fiber connection between both sites
for SAN rep and ESX, Server communication. Users user
connect to the VMs via MPLS.
Have you build such a environment?
