I have a VirtualCenter 2.5.0 Build 104215 (Running on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2) installation against the four ESX Servers (3.5.0 Update 2). I have template based of a Windows XP SP3 VM, and can successfully deploy a VM without guest customization. The moment I try apply any guest customization to the template, the entire VirtualCenter Service terminates, and needs to be restarted from the Services window. I have followed the instructions from , to update the sysprep files accordingly, and have also updated the sysprep files in the xp folder to SP3 Deployment tools. Unfortunately I am experiencing the same problem.
Would anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Thanks in advance.
