Export the "Administration Roles"

hi,

is it possilbe to export the different "administrion roles" into a excel or word file?

we got VC 2.5 ; ESX 3.5 + 3i

nice would be per VM. :smileyblush:

We got no roles for the ressouce pools.

I haven't seen an export function through the vi client per se that will put it in the format you're looking for. You can use powershell to retrieve permissions on objects, as you need. Try that out, if you have some interest. Other than that, the best I've seen is the admin tab, which will give you a graphical representation of the roles with the assigned users, on a per-role basis, but will list the objects as well.
