Expanding VMDK file. VC 2.x still shows original size in the Guest Settings

I expanded a vmdk file on a guest using VMKFSTOOLS. Went fine. Used diskpart in Windows to extend the partition. That went fine. However after powering off the guest and powering it back on. I noticed that the guests drive settings in VC 2.0 still show the original drives size instead of the new size I made the file. Is this a bug or is there something I can do so that VC shows the correct file size?

Thanks,

Pete

Looks like a typical VI/VC caching problem.

Did you remove the VM before expanding the disk - if not try to remove and readd it.
