Error when install VCENTER 5.5

Hi,

I try to install a vcenter server 5.5 over w2008 R2 and I found an error and the installation go to rollback action.

I see the log but I didn't found the problem.

Can yo help me please? I'm desesperated

Before I intalled vcenter single sign-on and inventory service

Seems that it is not able to find the required files.? May be the download bundle was not complete

did you verify the checksum after the download of the vCenter bundle. may be you re-download it and try again.

It seems to me that I am a bit late but its better to be late then never.

I recently faced this issue while upgrading Vcenter 5.5 update 3E while upgrading Inventory services.

Dig down a bit and found that main cause of the issue was the service which was in stopped mode. Recreated the DB of inventory services and made it started again followed by successfull upgrade of Inventory service.
