Error upgrading Vcenter windows 6.7 to appliance 7.0.3

Hello,

i'm upgrading my 6.7 windows vcenter to the latest appliance 7.0.3. But i run into errors on the windows machine when i launch the migration-assistant. It gives the following errorr :

Error: Internal error occurs during VMware vCenter Server Database pre-upgrade checks.
Resolution: Please search for these symptoms in the VMware Knowledge Base for any known issues and possible resolutions. If none can be found, collect a support bundle and open a support request.

anyone got any ideas on what i can look at?

regards

Arjan

As your post needs moving to the area for vCenter Server, I have reported it to the volunteer moderators.

Hello Andre,

no i'm was upgrading windows 6.7 not and appliance. was upgrading to a appliance.

I ended up rebuilding the vcenter from scratch, since it wasnt that complicated. My biggest worries was the backup from Veeam, used the remap tool from Veeam to the id's the same and all was fine.

Veeam tool says its for version 8./ 9.5 but worked fine with my version 11.
