I suspected an internal DNS, as described here.

Also vCenter Server requires successful name resolution, we have also checked the following
"nslookup -nosearch -nodefname FQDN_or_IP_address"
The result forward and reverse lookup is OK. I have got the correct answer from our DNS server.
However, I cannot instal Center server 6.7 on the windows server with the error,
" Failed to run vdcpromo "
When I checked the log, it said the following
