Error in Converting Template into VM

Hi All,

Yes I'm having problem of

"Validation not applicable this time" when I'm about to convert my

template into a VM as I want to migrate the Template to the other server.

The Template is in ESXi 3.5u4 and ultimately I'm about to migrate it to ESXi 4 server but I can't do it due to the limitation ofwhat template can do 😐 CMIIW

I'm connecting from vSPhere Client into my vCenter Server 4.0 to manage my both ESXi servers.

Any idea please ?

I am also getting this message, but able to proceed with the conversion. I think this is just a message that is displayed in the compatibility section.

thanks for the reply but the template still in template form, I could not convert it into a VM therefore I caould not migrate it to another ESXi server.

Oh well, the problem is gone after I delete that file from the datastore browser and then create that template manually again.
