when importing a V 7.0 virtual machine to vPhere V8. the virtual machine is not imported
It never finishes loading the OVF file.This only happens to me in the vPhere client, if I perform the procedure on my ESXi server I don't have any problem.
try to upload the files via SCP and then register the vmx file through datastore
