Hello everybody.
I can't replace SSL certificate on my vcenter.
The certificates are emitted by godaddy and I've used them in many servers, as they are eligible for *.<mydomain>.it.
I get always this unuseful message: "Error, certificate failed to replace".
I upload file ending with .cer or .pem or .crt, but nothing changes. The same for the .key file.
Any idea?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Fabrizio
VMware does not support the use of wildcard certificates.
What errors do you see in the certificate manager log? (/var/log/vmware/vmcad/certificate-manager.log
Have you published the Intermediate & Root certficates into the trusted store?
