VMware Virtual Center 4.1 build 258902
I have a problem with the VirtualCenter Server. The virtualcenter service doesn`t start, and the message that appears in the log file is:
Unable to get exclusive access to vc repository. Please check if another virtualcenter instance is running against the same database schema.
In the Vcenter server, I checked the odbc connections, ok
The two instances, upmanager and vcenter, are in a oracle server (10 g)
Last sunday, the DB Oracle, was migrated to other server. All permisions and roles are the same.
After that migration process, i had the problem with vcenter server
I tried this,
Terminate any connections to the vcenter database. Then restart the vcenter server but the problem continues.
Any idea?
