Is there any way to check the effective permissions for a particular user for a particular virtual machine in Vsphere.
AS we have Vm admin and we provided him sufficient rights to browse Vm and Datacenter , but still he is not getting option of send ctrl, alt and del with right click Vm.
I need to know how can i check what level of permissions are allowed for a user over a virtual machine.
any update!
Hello,
Is this for vCenter or ESX directly. In general to allow 'Ctrl-Alt'Delete' you need to allow Console Interaction Roles.

Its for Vcenter and how should i check the allow Console Interaction Roles , i already added that user to administrator group.
Hello,
It sounds like your user has other permissions and that you have some sort of collision there. Moving to the vCenter Forum.
