The next version of ESX Manager 2.3 is available for download from http://www.esxguide.com
The new Version runs with ESX 3.5 and Virtual Infrastructure Client 2.5 Please do not install this new Version if you like to run ESX Manager with versions prior to Infrastructure Client 2.5
Installation Requirements
- Important: Virtual Infrastructure Client 2.5 must also be installed
- WWW Internet connection to *.esxguide.com
The new Version fixes some minor problems and supports the new ESX 3.5 Version.
The Publishing of Tasks is removed as it was not widely used.
Features:
- Virtual Center independent
- Keeps track of Virtual Machine Host Registration, Migrations and Status
- Manage Virtual Machine Configuration
- Display and work in the Virtual Machine Console
- Kill Virtual Machine Process (if the VM can't be powered off)
- Rename Virtual Disks of registered Virtual Machines
- Move Virtual Disks and keep the disk attached to the Virtual Machine
- Virtual Machine Registration, Start, Restart, Reset, Power Off, Suspend
- Extend Virtual Disks
- View-Search-Filter Logfiles on the ESX Host.
- Define and save custom SSH commands with Parameter handling
- Publish and share custom SSH commands with other ESX Administrators.
I hope the exchange of SSH Custom tasks in the public repository will be used frequently.
The new release is still free to use without any limitations.
