ESX 4.0 Standard Syslogging

Hello, is it possible to put syslogging up on a standard ESX 4.0? And how do I do this?

If you set that the logs will not be anymore on the ESX. You will redirect them to the syslogd server.

Didn't get your question... but if you want to redirect syslog to another server, do this:

http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1016621 (this is for ESXi, but I think you will be able to configure it)

After that proceed with this:

http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1019102

Hi, thanks for that.

I've made sys logging on my ESXi.

But lacked to make it on my ESX 4.0 standard host. When I do remote logging. Will the log's be on both my host and on my remote syslog server?

Thank you.
