Domain permissions on vcenter appliance

Hi community,

I have a problem with assigning domain permissions on the vcenter server appliance. The vcenter appliance is in the domain, but if i want to assign some users or groups from the domain, the drop-down list don`t show the Domain (see Screenshot). Does anybody have an idea?

Thanks & Regards

Manuel

Did you change the hostname or IP-address of the appliance?

had seen a similar issue earlier with one customer running vCenter 5.1, turned out they did not have SSO configured with the default domain and Groups...hth!

Hi and thanks for your interest and help!

Now I have another problem with the login to the vcenter Webclient where following error appears:

Failed to connect to VMware Lookup Service https://My-Host:7444/lookupservice/sdk - SSL certificate verification failed.
