Does VCSA Migration/Upgrade Renew Certificates as Part of Process

Hello Everyone,

I have a slightly older build of VCSA 6.7 which is due to be updated.  It also has those certificates (created during original install) that need to be renewed.

If I migrate/upgrade to something like VCSA 6.7U3p are these certificates renewed as part of that process or will I still need to renew them on the newly upgraded/migrated appliance?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

-Don

the migration/upgrade process leaves these certs untouched.

you have to renew them before or after

This thread needs to be in the vCenter Server area, I’ve reported it to alert moderators.

Migration/Upgrade Process just copies all the cert from Old vCenter to New vCenter on Step 2 Process.

you can change if there is a change in your Alias Records mapping to vCenter or Expired Certs.
